Meeting With Our Lawyers Network

Within the scope of the Monitoring Freedom of Association Project, supported by the European Union and conducted in collaboration with the Civil Society Development Center (STGM), we held the first meeting of the Lawyers’ Network in 2024 on February 2, This network consists of lawyers specializing in legislation affecting civil society, fundamental rights, and freedoms. In the first part of the meeting, we shared updates on the project’s developments, highlights from the Monitoring Matrix on Enabling Environment for Civil Society 2020-2021 Türkiye Report prepared by us, and the Civil Society Organizations in Türkiye: Freedom of Association and the Right to Participation Report prepared by STGM. In the second part of the meeting, we gathered ideas and suggestions from network members regarding the network’s operation, working methods, and potential activities for the upcoming period.
