TUSEV Membership

TUSEV members consist of the founding members who established TUSEV back in 1993 and of foundations and associations that have joined the membership since then to support TUSEV as it works for a stronger, more participatory and reputable civil society in Türkiye. These organisations constitute TUSEV’s Board of Trustees.

TUSEV members, who join forces for a stronger, more participatory and reputable civil society in Türkiye, also become part of an influential network under this roof. Members have the opportunity to learn from each other, to come together in line with the similar needs of their organisations, to exchange ideas and experiences, and to speak out together against common problems. TUSEV members are also informed about the developments in the field of civil society on a global scale through TUSEV’s international partnerships and collaborations and have the opportunity to evaluate potential cooperation opportunities.

About TUSEV Membership Process

Foundations and associations wishing to join TUSEV’s strong membership network, support TUSEV and benefit from the opportunities offered by membership contact TUSEV to initiate their membership process. A meeting is organised with TUSEV’s Secretary General or Deputy Secretary General to provide information about the process. At the end of the process following TUSEV’s evaluation of this pre-application, the application is opened to the evaluation of the Executive Board. Upon the positive outcome of this evaluation, the membership of the organisation to TUSEV is submitted to the approval of the Board of Trustees at their first meeting following the application. Organisations that become members of TUSEV with the approval of existing members at the Board of Trustees meeting, become part of TUSEV’s strong member network.
