We participated in the Civil Society Days (CivSocWeek2024) hosted by the European Economic and Social Committee in Brussels on March 4-7 this year. Our team member Güneş Engin attended this event, which served as a critical platform for discussing the future of civil society and proposing solutions. Under the theme “Civil Society for Sustainable Europe,” the event addressed priority issues for civil society such as climate change, digital transformation, financing of civil society, and democratic participation. Participants engaged in panels and workshops to discuss challenges faced by civil society and explore innovative solutions. Additionally, topics like enhancing the capacities of civil society organizations, promoting youth engagement in civil society activities, and fostering a more effective role for civil society in environmental sustainability were thoroughly examined.
