The Philanthropy Professionals Education Program (FPEP) Has Started
The Philanthropy Professionals Education Program (FPEP) has officially started. Bringing together 27 civil society professionals, the program will run between January and June 2026.
After a long break, TÜSEV relaunched the Philanthropy Professionals Education Program (FPEP) last month. First implemented in 2015, the program is designed as a comprehensive capacity-building initiative to strengthen the knowledge, skills, and strategic approaches of civil society professionals working in the field of philanthropy.
Delivered in a hybrid format between January and June 2026, the program combines monthly in-person sessions in Istanbul with online meetings. FPEP brings together 27 civil society professionals from Istanbul and other cities for thematic sessions focusing on fundraising, communication strategies, grantmaking processes, private sector engagement, social entrepreneurship, and the future of philanthropy.
Throughout the six-month program, participants will:
- Develop a holistic understanding of the philanthropy ecosystem, including giving trends, models, and legal frameworks in Turkey and globally.
- Strengthen their capacity in strategic philanthropy and social investment, with a focus on impact-oriented approaches and private sector partnerships.
- Gain practical knowledge on individual giving, donor relationship management, storytelling, and volunteer engagement models.
- Explore grantmaking processes and design models applicable within their own institutions.
- Build connections with international philanthropy networks and follow global civil society trends.
