The Case Study “Relationships with Civil Society Organizations from a Private Sector Perspective: The Mazars Denge Example” Has Been Published

As part of TÜSEV’s Philanthropy Infrastructure Development Project, which we have been running since 2011 to promote a culture of giving and philanthropy in Türkiye and provide an infrastructure that facilitates strategic giving, the case study Relationships with Civil Society Organizations from a Private Sector Perspective: The Mazars Denge Example was published to contribute to our ongoing work in the field of corporate giving.

Within the scope of this case study, the approach of Mazars Denge, which goes beyond conventional methods by supporting civil society organizations and social enterprises and integrating social benefit as a key element of its business model and corporate policy, has been examined and documented.

The case study explores different dimensions of Mazars Denge’s approach, which aims to transform the company from a solely profit-driven entity into an organization that also considers and safeguards the interests of society and nature. It focuses on the nature and methods of the company’s relationship with civil society and the types of support provided to CSOs. The case study also includes information on the internal structure for maintaining a sustainable relationship with civil society, as well as interviews with the company’s members.

The case study is divided into five main sections: Mazars Denge, Sustainability as a Cornerstone of Mazars Denge’s Social Benefit Approach, Mazars Denge’s Support for Civil Society Organizations, Social Investments, Sustainability Efforts During the Pandemic, and Support for Civil Society Organizations and Recommendations for Other Companies.
