Talk on “How Effective Altruism is Changing Ideas About Living Ethically” Will Take Place on 28 February Wednesday

As TUSEV, we started the Civil Society Series in 2022 in collaboration with Koç University Press (KÜY) and the Koç University Center for Civil Society and Philanthropy Research (KUSITHAM) to contribute to the development of the field by bringing international resources on civil society to Turkish and to promote dialogue among stakeholders. The second book in the series, “The Most Good You Can Do: How Effective Altruism is Changing Ideas About Living Ethically” by philosopher Peter Singer, was published last September.

As part of this effort, we are organizing an online talk with the book’s author, Peter Singer, on Wednesday, February 28, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. The event will be moderated by Itır Erhart, and we will give us the opportunity to reflect on the work together.

You can register for the talk, which will take place on the Zoom platform with English-Turkish simultaneous translation support until 6:00 PM on Tuesday, February 27. Once you complete your registration, you will receive an email with the link to the talk.

Alternatively, you can also follow the talk with Turkish language support on TUSEV’s YouTube channel by subscribing to our channel and enable notifications.
