Meeting on Freedom of Association Research Reports Held in Istanbul
As part of the Monitoring Freedom of Association Project, carried out by the Third Sector Foundation of Türkiye (TÜSEV) and the Civil Society Development Center Association (STGM) funded by the European Union, we held a meeting on Tuesday, October 24, at TÜSEV’s head office to present key findings from comprehensive research reports on developments in civil society in Türkiye. In addition to a thorough desk study, the research on Freedom of Association in Türkiye involved surveys conducted with representatives of 1,003 CSOs, 2 focus group meetings, and 48 in-depth interviews. The main findings of these reports were presented during the meeting, and the results were evaluated and discussed with the CSO representatives during the meeting.
