Draft Amendments to the Law on Associations and the Law on Fundraising Opened for Opinions and Recommendations

The Directorate General of Civil Society Relations (STİGM) has published two separate draft amendments to certain articles of the Law on Associations and the Law on Fundraising on its website, inviting opinions and recommendations.

With Decision E: 2021/28, K: 2024/11, published in the Official Newspaper dated 03.04.2024 and numbered 32509, the Constitutional Court annulled certain articles of the Law on Associations (No. 5253) and the Law on Fundraising (No. 2860). In response, the Directorate General of Civil Society Relations has prepared two draft amendments to address these annulled articles and has shared these drafts on its website to gather feedback from civil society organizations.

CSOs wishing to share their opinions and suggestions on the drafts can complete the Opinion and Evaluation Forms for the Draft on STİGM’s website and send them via email to sti.islemlermevzuat@icisleri.gov.tr by Monday, September 2, 2024.
