A New Journey from TÜSEV: Dialogues on the Futures Philanthropy Have Begun

We have launched a new dialogue series to help shape the future of civil society together. Inspired by the question, “Dear future, how are you?”, the Dialogues on the Futures Philanthropy create space for discussions on emerging trends in philanthropy and foresight.

The series’ first event, a launch meeting, was held online on March 12 with the participation of TÜSEV’s member organizations. The event introduced the concept of futures philanthropy and foresight and explored developments in areas such as youth empowerment, artificial intelligence, and climate philanthropy.

The guest speaker was Hanna Stähle, Foresight and Innovation Lead at Philea (Philanthropy Europe Association). In her presentation titled “Philanthropy of the Future: Integrating Foresight into Philanthropic Practice”, Stähle shared methodologies for thinking and planning with a future-oriented lens.

We will continue hosting dialogues on futures philanthropy. We are excited for this journey where innovative ideas are shared, future strategies for civil society are shaped, and collaborations are fostered. See you in the future!
