On #PaylaşmaGünü, December 3, 2024, we will highlight the importance of giving and volunteering to showcase the value we place on each other and the world around us, celebrating a culture of sharing. We’re looking for “ambassadors” who will spread the goals and values of #PaylaşmaGünü, connecting this most generous day of the year with people around them.
Who Are the Sharers?
Ambassadors are volunteers who help spread the culture of solidarity, volunteering, and giving that #PaylaşmaGünü promotes. They aim to increase support for civil society organizations in Türkiye and expand the #PaylaşmaGünü network. Ambassadors motivate individuals and organizations around them to get involved.
Playing a key role in promoting the values of #PaylaşmaGünü and bridging connections with partner civil society organizations (CSOs), sharers share updates, resources, and examples of good practices related to #PaylaşmaGünü to inspire those around them.
Ambassadors join regular gatherings as part of the #PaylaşmaGünü community, working on concrete actions to boost the visibility of this generosity movement across various stakeholders.
What Do Ambassadors Do?
Ambassadors volunteer their time to find and encourage people and organizations that align with #PaylaşmaGünü’s goal of spreading a culture of solidarity, volunteering, and giving. They actively engage their communities in #PaylaşmaGünü’s values.
Ambassadors can guide local institutions or organizations interested in becoming #PaylaşmaGünü partners, using resources prepared by the #PaylaşmaGünü team or by contacting the team directly to ensure partners receive the necessary support.
As a sharer, you will:
- Become part of a global movement that includes more than 100 countries,
- Have opportunities to communicate and collaborate with civil society organizations,
- Attend celebrations in Istanbul on December 3,
- And most importantly, lead the spread of solidarity, volunteering, and giving in Türkiye, transforming your energy and efforts into social good.
How to Become an Ambassador
Applications are accepted through an open call. After evaluation by the TÜSEV team, selected candidates become sharers.
